The Swan House is a pretty shuttered bungalow, beautifully refurbished to provide very comfortable four-bedroom accommodation and decorated throughout by the renowned decorator Penny Morrison. There are two double bedrooms with king-size beds and two twin bedrooms with single beds, all beds having their own custom made bed heads with Egyptian cotton bed linen, goose down pillows and luxury quilts. |

There is a Range style electric cooker in the fully fitted kitchen which opens to a light and sunny dining room/conservatory. The living room has large comfortable sofas and armchairs with a woodburning stove and patio doors which open onto the south facing terrace with outside dining area and barbeque. The terrace is surrounded by a good sized lawned garden with flower beds, ideal for relaxation and enjoying the superb views. |

The Swan House is surrounded by beautiful countryside, just off the Offa’s Dyke path and a short drive from the festival book town of Hay-on-Wye. An ideal base for walking, antique hunting, exploring and relaxing, the towns of Presteigne, Knighton and Kington lie within a eight mile radius of the Swan House. Each town has a traditional High Street with local butchers, greengrocers, bakers, cafés and pubs. |

The Harp at Old Radnor, a lovely country pub with fantastic sunset views is only a five minute drive, and we are 8 miles from the Stagg at Titley, a Michelin-starred gastro pub. Within easy reach of The Hay Literary Festival (May/June), we also have the Royal Welsh Show (late July), the Presteigne Music Festival (late August), Herefordshire Art Week (early September), the Ludlow Food Festival (mid September) and many more. |
